Almost

Last Tuesday the 12th of December I had my last radiation treatment. That means I am done with all of my cancer treatment. I have minor outpatient surgery on Tuesday to get out the port-a-cath they put in to administer my chemotherapy. Then I will really really be done. It seems I should be feeling pretty good, excited even being done with my treatment, but I can't quiet let myself feel that way, yet. I have to get through Tuesday alive and well. Get the alien implant out I carry around in my upper right chest. Then and only then will I feel DONE!

This is hard to believe, isn't it? And I can tell you from experience that it won't be like flipping a switch and you'll go back to "normal." But I think you know that already ;-)
Be patient with yourself, and look forward to the new You that will be emerging. May 2007 bring you all the health, joy, happiness and strength you so deserve!
