repeating sevens

I’ve been hit by Alexandra Samuel. Rather than using a social media service that’s new to her, I figure I’d put this on a blog that’s probably new to her.

First, here are the rules for the game:

  • Link to your original tagger(s) and list these rules in your post.
  • Share seven facts about yourself in the post. (see below)
  • Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names and the links to their blogs. (see below)
  • Let them know they’ve been tagged.

Now, here are my seven things:

  1. I spent three long years toiling away in  a garage on the Pacific.  I produced some fiction of which I am proud. I also played a lot of tennis.  That was part of the toiling. I swear.
  2. I play golf and tennis. And, yes, in both cases it partly because of the clothes.
  3. My mother still, occasionally, calls me “Ladybug.”  She only does it in public.  I secretly like it.
  4. I want to visit Missouri because it is the land of my people.
  5. I’m not sure that I’ll ever get over being humbled by being able to witness — even a continent away — this moment in history.
  6. I can’t parallel park. I can’t park in pull in spaces either.  Ending up in the San Francisco Bay Area is like some sort of life lesson for me.
  7. I really, really, really want a sailboat.

Okay. I’m going to break the rules now and not tag anyone. But if you’re reading this, I’d love it if you’d share seven things — linking back to this post so I know about ‘em.  If you don’t have an Internet room of your own, you can drop your seven things in the comments.
